The lodge is extremely spacious and makes the most memorable venue for exclusive parties, with access to a table seating up to 30 people.

Unique rural lodge in the grounds of Wrackleford Estate

The Shooting Lodge sits high on the Dorset downs, set in a small coppice containing wild fruits and flowers. The Lodge is within the grounds of the beautiful Wrackleford Estate and commands spectacular views south towards the coast. One mile from the nearest main road makes it remote and rural yet it is only two hours from London. The 1500 acre agricultural estate makes it a perfect place for dog walking.

The original structure was built over 150 years ago as a Shooting Lodge and 'Refuge' for hunters. There are 5 bedrooms. On the ground floor, 2 twin bedrooms, each with ensuite shower-room. On the first floor, there is a separate bathroom for a twin bedroom, a double bedroom with mezzanine overlooking the large entrance hallway, and, accessible from the living/dining area via a steep spiral staircase, the Tower room, a small single open plan bedroom. All linen is provided and beds are made up
prior to arrival.

Our private, rural lodge is set in the lush Frome valley in the beautiful county of Dorset. With it's attractive villages, interesting coastline and rolling, unspoilt countryside, this is a county for all seasons with its mild, south coast climate.
