The perfect location in Snowdonia to eat well, sleep well, and take a little of Wales back home

|
A comfortable, family-run hotel, full of historic character and ideal for exploring Snowdonia and North Wales
Once an 18th century coaching inn, and originally part of the Earl of Ancaster's Welsh Estate, the hotel offers a unique place to relax at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. All rooms are en-suite and retain their charm and character. There are four poster bedrooms, overlooking the Lledr Valley and river, for a little more luxury.
You can dine in the intimate restaurant and enjoy a drink by the woodburning stove in the cosy historic bar. The Siabod Restaurant is named after the mountain ‘Moel Siabod’, which is 872m or 2861 feet high and rises from the village. The main restaurant and the Garden Room enjoy beautiful views over
the Lledr Valley.
The village of Dolwyddelan is the ideal starting place to experience all the sights and sounds of North Wales, and the hotel is located in the centre of the village. Dolwyddelan stands at a natural and historical crossroads, straddling the trout and salmon-rich Afon Lledr river, which wends its way through meadows and gorges northwards.
